Adamawa Governorship Candidate is Dead

Pastor Hakila Yerima, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Adamawa state is dead;

SDP Adamawa publicity secretary, John Luka disclosed that Yerima died after suffering from a liver-related disease.

According to Luka, Yerima had on December 27 written to the party withdrawing his candidacy as the party’s flag bearer because of his failing health.

The Publicity secretary also said that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has been notified and soon, the SDP will announce a new candidate.
