Obasanjo meets Jonathan in presence of Adeboye, Oyedepo

Apparently in a desperate move to woo former President Olusegun Obasanjo President Goodluck Jonathan Monday night was at the Hilltop residence of former President in what some observers have called a fence mending move.

In attendance were two.prominent preachers Pastor E A Adeboye of RCCG and Dr. David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel.

It was learnt that the presence of the two clergymen was at the instance of Obasanjo who allegedly insisted that the duo must be present to witness the discussion as basis for his decision on whether Jonathan would get his support or not.

Obasanjo was said to have insisted as such because of previous agreements reached with Jonathan which the president breached.

Part of the conditions was the removal of the South West leader of the PDP Mr. Buruji Kashamu who Obasanjo had described as an international fraudster.

Sources said when he meeting ended there were no banters as there appeared to have been some new areas of disagreement which could stand in the way of the president and the former president.
